It’s time for Benton Panther Football!
After a week off to rest and regroup following a season-opening Salt Bowl loss to Bryant, the Benton Panthers return to action Friday night against the Little Rock Southwest Gryphons. The Gryphons are in their inaugural season of football with the merger two Little Rock high schools, McClellan and Fair, to form the new Southwest High School. Southwest enters the game 0-2 with losses at West Memphis (36-16) and at home against Little Rock Parkview (49-0).
