Boys Varsity Football Sr. High · 2018 PANTHERS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME VS GREENWOOD 12/1 – Broadcast Options

It’s time for Benton Panther State Championship football!  Saturday at at 12:00 noon, the Benton Panthers and Greenwood Bulldogs will battle for the Class 6-A State Championship.  The Panthers (10-2) make their third-ever appearance in the State Championship game at War Memorial Stadium.  The 1977 Panthers were crowned State Champs after a 13-7 victory over Conway.  The 2014 Panthers finished State Runner-up with a loss to Pine Bluff in the title game.  The defending State Champion Bulldogs (11-1) are appearing in their fourth straight State Championship game and their 11th in the past 15 years.

The Panthers reached the Championship game thanks to a 30-17 win at West Memphis last Friday night.  Greenwood knocked off Sylvan Hills 31-10 in Greenwood to secure their spot.

Due to the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) owning the video broadcast rights to all State Championship games, the Benton Panther Football Network will only be able to provide live radio and audio streaming of the game.  The Panther Broadcast team of Terry Benham, Jim Gardner, John Penn and Dio Vannucci will have the call of the game on the radio home of Benton Panther Football, 106.7FM The Ride.  The listen live link for 106.7 can be found by CLICKING HERE.

The broadcast on 106.7FM The Ride will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the Everett Buick GMC Panther Pregame Show.

The Benton Panther Football Network video production crew with Fidelity Local 6 will be providing Statewide television coverage of the game on AETN.  Scott Inman and Bobby Swofford will have the call of the game for television.  In addition, live video stream will be available through the NFHS Network at this link (CLICK HERE).  The NFHS Network live video feed requires a $9.95 subscription fee to access the game.
