The Benton Junior High Panthers opened their Central Arkansas Junior High Conference slate with a sweet of Conway White on Thursday at John McConnell Stadium in Conway. The Freshman Panthers won a 21-20, while the 8th grade Panthers coasted to a 36-20 win. The wins even both Benton Junior High teams’ season record at 1-1.

It’s time for Benton Panther football! Tonight at 7:00, the Benton Panthers host the Arkadelphia Badgers in the 2019 season home opener. The Panthers, defending Class 6-A State Champion runner-up, enter the game looking for their first win. In last Friday’s Salt Bowl, the Panthers fell to cross-country rival Bryant in front of 26,148 fans.
